UNM – Inpatient & Outpatient Behavioral Health Roles
UNM
We hire provisionally licensed counseling or social work graduates, as well as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.
The rate of pay depends on licensure, but all external new hires can receive a sign-on bonus ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on their position and licensure. Additionally, all employees benefit from our generous shift differentials:
• 17% for weekday nights
• 26% for weekend nights
• 15% for weekend day shifts
We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% employer-paid health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance for full-time employees.
To support career growth, UNMH provides a robust tuition reimbursement program, covering up to 24 credits per year at the rate of UNM’s tuition (students don’t have to attend UNM to qualify). Recognizing the cost of education, we also offer a dependent education scholarship that covers the first undergraduate degree for eligible spouses, domestic partners, and/or children attending UNM. Other benefits include nine paid holidays, generous leave policies, and the opportunity to work at New Mexico’s only academic teaching hospital.
