Legislative Internships
NM Legislative Council Service
The Legislative Internship Program employs undergraduate and
recently graduated students in the New Mexico Legislature to provide
practical experience in day-to-day legislative staff work.
Interns work full time in the ofice for the Legislative Council Service
or Legislative Education Study Committee and work with experienced
legislative staff, legislators, committees, state agencies and the public.
Work performed may include legislative committee meeting
organization, issue analysis, and legislative projects.
