SANTA FE, N.M. — FEMA’s New Mexico Joint Recovery Office (JRO) is participating in a New Mexico Workforce Connection hiring fair in Santa Fe on Jan. 15 to fill full-time positions with the FEMA Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office and the long-term recovery office.

The Claims Office is seeking qualified applicants for a number of jobs, including claims navigators, claims operations chief, administrative support supervisor, quality control, intake staff assistant, emergency management specialists, program analyst and administrative specialists.

Claims Office staff will be on site to answer questions and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Interested candidates are encouraged to have a resume on-hand as interested individuals will learn more about hiring opportunities and how to secure a fulfilling federal career serving their community. The positions support the important mission of helping New Mexico recover from disasters and compensate those affected by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire and subsequent flooding.
