Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma-informed and relationship-based mental health therapy services to children and families, including: individual child sessions, individual parenting sessions, dyadic parent-child sessions, family therapy, couples/co-parenting sessions, and parenting groups.
• Experience with newcomers (refugees, asylees, and other trauma-affected migrants) a plus.
• Develop proficiency in one or more of the following Evidence-Based Practices: Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), and/or Art Therapy (training and supervision provided).
• Develop proficiency in the treatment of child trauma, complex family trauma, and/or disorders of infancy and early childhood (training and supervision provided).
• Contribute to the trauma-informed system of care within the organization and to local/regional/national systems of care as a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
• Complete screenings, assessments, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Engage in a combination of individual and group supervision (clinical and reflective practice) to support resilience and clinical expertise.
