Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board Internship Program
AAIHB Summer Internship Program is now open for applications.
Program Overview:
The AAIHB Internship Program supports American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) students and recent graduates in building experience in Tribal public health and research. Interns work alongside AAIHB staff on applied projects that contribute to the health and well-being of Tribal communities across the region.
Who Should Apply:
- AIAN undergraduate and graduate students
- Recent AIAN Master’s and doctoral graduates entering the public health workforce
- Preference is given to applicants who are members of the 27 Tribal Nations within the AAIHB service area
