Operates, repairs, and maintains, according to prescribed methods, multiple installations of banks of mechanically fired, dual fuel, fire and/or water tube boilers.
Operates, maintains, and repairs air compressors, fire pumps, domestic water booster water booster pumps, cooling towers, water softeners, and associated pumps, valves, and actuators.
Operates and monitors multiple building automation system equipment which gives an audible and visual alarm on malfunctioning equipment in outlying areas that must be kept in continuous operation.
Checks gauges for proper temperatures and air balances, plugged drains, malfunctioning freezers, control panels.
Checks critical equipment and systems to ensure they are operating properly.
Starts, stops, and switches all heat-cooling and ventilating systems and associated equipment in their proper sequence.
May replace components of equipment, pipe, valves, and fittings, and correct control system malfunctions
