A Case Manager/Social Worker at Fathers New Mexico is responsible for listening to each
participating parent and to provide substantive ideas in support of addressing each of the
parent’s concerns as well as respectful and productive feedback on the parent’s choices and
actions. Social Workers outreach to fathers in a purposeful manner, prioritizing fathers with
the highest needs. Social Workers are responsible to work with individuals and families
from a place of humility and to conscientiously pursue options to meet participants needs.
Social Workers must engage professional development and be open to correction, ideas that
challenge and to working as a team member. Social Workers support and operationalize the
mission of Fathers New Mexico and its work with families. A Social Worker maintains
positive relationships with other staff, volunteers, clients/participants, professional
collaborators and supporters of Fathers New Mexico. A Fathers New Mexico Social Worker
willingly brings their expertise and insights to the team, in the spirit of constant
improvement for the organization.
In addition to one-on-one support of individual dads, this position will Plan and
facilitate Dad’s Groups for participants. This person may also be asked to support
organizational development and promotional activities.
